CFA Calls on Members of Congress to Oppose REINS Act Legislation That Will Undermine Consumer Protections

In a letter to members of Congress, CFA has expressed strong opposition to the Regulation from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act (REINS Act), a bill that will undermine important consumer protections. The REINS Act, if passed, would undercut the ability of federal agencies to protect consumers from unsafe food, predatory financial products and schemes, and dangerous consumer products.
