CFA Expresses Concern about California Ticket Sale Legislative Amendments

CFA and other advocates wrote to the California legislature opposing amendments to AB 2808 that would weaken its pro-competition provisions. Live event ticket sales are dominated by Ticketmaster and Live Nation, and advocates have pushed for legislative measures that would promote competition, including the right to transfer tickets freely. The proposed amendments would further consolidate power over ticket transfers to this monopoly rather than consumers.
