CFA Replies to Industry Claims in Ongoing FCC Broadband Privacy Proceedings

CFA has joined a coalition of privacy advocacy groups in comments to the FCC regarding the ongoing proceedings to strengthen broadband privacy for consumers. The letter rejects industry claims that the FTC does not support the FCC's move to regulate privacy in broadband networks, or that broadband privacy rules would decrease investment, among other erroneous assertions.
