CFA Stresses the Need to Transform the US Energy Sector in the America Jobs Plan
Earlier this week, President Biden announced his American Jobs Plan, a sweeping $2 trillion infrastructure and jobs package that would reshape the American economy and make the most significant domestic U.S. investments in decades. In response, Consumer Federation of America wrote to key Administration officials stressing that transforming our nation’s energy sector is currently one of the most important aspects of future economic policy and that The American Jobs Plan will create jobs and spur that transformation by accelerating the move to a more resilient electricity grid which leads to modernizing power generation through cleaner and low-cost energy alternatives.
