Consumer Federation of America submitted comments in support of the Nevada Division of Insurance's proposed regulation LCB File No. R087-20, which would ban the use of credit information to raise consumers' insurance premiums during the COVID-19 pandemic and for two years afterwards. CFA strongly strongly supports this rule, which will protect consumers from being unfairly penalized by circumstances beyond their control and prevent unnecessary premium hikes during this crisis.
