CFA Urges Connecticut Legislature to Adopt Money-Saving Energy and Water Efficiency Standards

CFA sent a letter to Senator Norm Needleman and Representative David Arconti, Chairs, Joint Committee on Energy and Technology of the Connecticut General Assembly in support of SB 863, a bill relating to energy and water efficiency standards. It includes standards for computers, common household products such as air purifiers, lighting products known as general service lamps, faucets, toilets and showerheads as well as standards for commercial products such as commercial dishwashers and steam cookers. CFA points out the benefits for Connecticut consumers highlighting pocketbook savings for utility bills.
