Coalition Comments to FDA on Preventive Controls for Animal Feed

CFA, the Center for Science in the Public Interest, Center for Foodborne Illness Research & Prevention, and The Pew Charitable Trusts comment on the proposed rule on Current Good Manufacturing Practice and Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Food for Animals. The coalition encourages the FDA to incorporate improvements recommended in this comment so that the public can have confidence that the food safety system for both humans and animals in the United States delivers on the Commissioner’s promise “to build a modern, effective, and proactive food safety… regulatory system for the 21st century.”
