Consumer Groups File Additional Comments in Support of the CEC's Proposed Standards for Computers and Monitors

The Consumer Federation of America, Consumers Union, Consumer Action and Consumer Federation of California submitted comments to the California Energy Commission (CEC) in support of proposed efficiency standards for computers and monitors; in addition, the commenters suggested an aggressive market monitoring program to ensure energy savings for consumers are realized. Final action by the CEC is expected at the end of the year.
