Consumer Groups Submitted a Letter in Support of HR 3375 "Stopping Bad Robocalls Act" to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and its Subcommittee on Communications and Technology

CFA joined several consumer and privacy organizations in a letter to the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and its Subcommittee on Communications and Technology to express strong support for the bipartisan bill, “Stopping Bad Robocalls Act (HR 3375),” unveiled on June 20, 2019. The groups noted that the bill will require that telemarketers, debt collectors, and others to stop making the calls that are harassing Americans and urged committee members to support it without weakening amendments.
