Group Letter to President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder on Ending Renewal of Section 215 Bulk Telephony Metadata Program

CFA urges President Obama and Attorney General Holder not to renew the Section 215 Bulk Telephony Metadata Program when the current order expires on June 20, 2014. The program is not effective. It should end. The Section 215 Bulk Telephony Metadata Program is unconstitutional and violates the plain text of Section 215 and the purpose of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (“FISA”).
