Groups Urge FCC to Retain CPNI Certification Requirements

In comments to the Federal Communications Commission, Consumer Federation of America and other groups urged the agency to retain the requirement that phone companies annually certify that they are adequately protecting the privacy of Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI), the sensitive personal information they collect about their customers and the calls they make.
